Quick Proof of Concept Video

Hey Kids!

So, even though the miniature isn't finished yet, I shot a quick plate of the model (after it has been coated with black paint).  There is some miniature foliage on it, again, just to take a look at some possibilities.
No more excuses, here it is:

 

Still have a long way to go finishing and dressing the temple, but as you can see, it's going to work great!

Building a Better Temple Part 1

Hey Kids!

And YOU thought I had died or given up!  Not so!  I've been down but not out and now I'm back working on a place where Geckonikis can live, thrive and shrink heads. 

Using stuff I had lying around the garage I started putting the temple together this afternoon.

Those "bricks" are from Michael's craft store!  They actually sell little bricks JUST for this purpose!

Once the faux brick work was done, I glued in the paper towel tubes.  They'll be covered to look like stone.

I'll keep shooting photos as the work progresses.  Obviously it isn't near completed and it will be shot either as still camera elements or HD video as the Captain approaches!  So, a bit of creative optimism for all of you. Again, I thank you for your patience and support.
